Get practicing!  

Basic commands like as a simple 'sit' and 'wait' go a long way!  Teach your dog to sit and wait on a spot for longer periods of time, rewarding every successful pause.  Try to get them focussed on the treat rather than you, that eventually will help guide their gaze towards the lens.

'Cheese Tax'

Be sure to pack a selection of their favourite treats to reward good behaviour and trade for poses. 

 I will have some treats of my own on the day but it is great to have a something they are guaranteed to like.

Toys can also help.  For some dogs a ball is the ultimate reward and aren't bothered by treat at all.  Keep them hidden until we need them, quite often toys can be too stimulating!

My studio is just a short walk from Bow Church & Bow Road with excellent access to the Central, District, Hammersmith & City lines and the DLR.  I can also advise on a drop off point if you decide to arrive by car.

I always encourage a calm environment to help get the best results. 

When you arrive we will have plenty of time to settle in.  I will want to know all about your dog while they have a good sniff around and make themselves comfortable in the space.   It is also a great point to make sure they are photoshoot ready with a hair and makeup moment, i.e. a good brush.

We will try a variety of backdrops and cover a range of poses in the session.  We can include any special poses that you have been practicing as well as any accessories you bring with you.  

Your dog will dictate how much we can achieve on the day.  It is my priority that they are happy throughout the session.  

Breaks can be had at any time to help keep them focussed and make sure they are enjoying the process as much as we will!

Following your dog's session, the images will be processed and shared with you via an online gallery.   Here you can view the previews and make your final choices.   You won't have to make any decisions on the day. 

I am more than happy to help guide you and share my personal favourite images. I know it can be overwhelming to choose.

Regardless of your chosen package, you will have the opportunity to purchase additional digital images, physical prints and wall art.  I will have a selection of my core products on display for you to consider. 

Whatever you choose will be delivered to your preferred address and digital files will be shared via an email download link.
