Hi, I'm Jonny!
For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked as a portrait photographer across fashion, entertainment, and business. That experience taught me so much about connecting with my subjects and nurturing confidence, even for people who don’t think they’re photogenic.
Since becoming a dog dad, my focus shifted. Dogs have taken centre stage and I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way.
Photographing dogs (and the people who love them) is different. It’s less about perfection, and more about capturing something real. The little looks, the energy, the personality, and the bond you share.
My Co-pilot, Ryan
I work closely with my husband Ryan, the talented illustrator and pet portrait artist behind Woof Portraits.
He also possesses excellent dog whispering skills and is always on hand to help get the best results in our studio sessions.
Woof Portraits offers custom pet portraits pet lovers all over the UK and beyond. Many of his works have been based on photos from our sessions!
How it all began
Woof Photography formed when I was asked to photograph dogs as references for Ryan’s illustrations. I quickly discovered that applying my background in portrait and fashion photography to pets was not only a lot of fun, but incredibly rewarding.
After all, why shouldn’t dogs receive the same treatment as us humans?
Our combined knowledge of dog behaviour, patience, kindness and genuine love of dogs have proven to be a formula for success.
