On the weekend of 20th & 21st April, the Coppernose cafe will be celebrating all things dog!  This cafe is the little brother to the Mitre Hotel and they are promising a fun-filled day out for you and your four-legged friend. 

Come and discover an impressive and bright exhibition of dog art by ‘Woof Portraits’ and a pop-up studio photoshoot by ‘Woof Photography’. 

Book a 20-minute photoshoot session with professional dog photographer, Jonny HERE.  Following your dog’s session you will be able to purchase both photographic prints and products as well as commission a work of art by  Ryan, based on your favourite image from the shoot.

Ryan Hodge is the passionate pet portrait artist behind the work. – and he is one of our Priority Paws partners too! Each portrait is built up in many layers of hand-drawn detail and features a statement background colour.  You can commission one of Ryan’s fun, contemporary Pop Art style works on the day, to really capture your dog’s personality. 

Any clear image can be used as a reference image for a custom portrait, making them perfect for gifts for dog lovers!  However, an image taken by a professional photographer provides the optimum amount of detail and lighting to work from, making this event a fantastic opportunity as there is an opportunity to get professional photos taken on the day!

Both the Mitre Hotel and The Coppernose Cafe pride themselves on being extremely dog-friendly.  On the day, the cafe will be serving all their usual cafe favourites plus puppuchinos and premium dog treats to spoil your dogs with!

The Mitre is a refined yet relaxed boutique hotel on the banks of the River Thames next to Hampton Court Palace. Having been built in 1665 under the direction of Charles II as a hostel for visitors to Hampton Palace it has recently undergone an extensive and swish makeover and has been transformed into a super stylish country house hotel with a boating theme. Its nine beautifully decorated dog-friendly bedrooms are very Instagrammable and are conveniently situated on the ground floor with a courtyard and lots of doggie extras. With gorgeous river walks on the doorstep, you can also enjoy strolls in the Royal Parks and dog-friendly boat trips. Dine with your dog in the Coppernose, Orangery or terraces. Where to go for a dog walk?

One of our favourite parks at PetsPyjamas is  Bushy Park which is the second largest of the London Royal parks. Conveniently located next to The Mitre, you will have an abundance of walks right on your doorstep. The dog-friendly Prince of Wales pub, just a few minutes walk from Hampton Court station is a great spot for lunch too.
