Smooch My Pooch - A Valentine’s Special!
January 28, 2026Valentine’s Dog Pop-Up Photoshoot
at Smooch My Pooch, Battersea
Hey, I’m Jonny — the photographer behind Woof.
Valentine’s Day is coming up, and while flowers fade and chocolates disappear, my photographs stick around. That’s why I’m really excited to bring you a Valentine’s pop-up dog photoshoot hosted by Smooch My Pooch in Battersea. This one-day event is focused on creating beautiful, professional portraits of your dog in a relaxed, friendly setting.
This isn’t rushed, novelty photography. It’s the same care, lighting, and attention to detail I bring to my studio sessions, just delivered in a more accessible pop-up format with the added opportunity to incorporate some Valentines roses and your favourite outfit of accessories.
What to Expect
Each dog gets a dedicated 20-minute session, which gives us enough time to settle in, let personalities shine through, and create a variety of polished portraits without overwhelming your pup.
I’ll be bringing my signature Woof Photography backdrops — including soft cream, light blue/teal, and playful pink — along with professional studio lighting. Everything is designed to flatter your dog’s colouring and produce clean, timeless images that work just as well on your walls as they do on Instagram.
The atmosphere is calm, positive, and dog-led. Some dogs come in bouncing, some need a minute to take it all in — both are completely fine. The goal is to capture them, not force a pose.
After the Shoot
Following your session, you’ll have the option to purchase from a curated range of professionally retouched images and products, including:
- High-resolution digital files for sharing and safekeeping
- Fine art prints
- Framed wall art designed to last for years
Everything is lovingly retouched, with careful colour correction and attention to detail.
Make a Day of It
Smooch My Pooch is a luxury grooming salon and daycare, so many clients choose to book a groom ahead of their session. A fresh trim, a calm environment, and then straight in front of the camera — it’s a great combination.
I’ll also be joined by Ryan from Woof Portraits, who’ll be showcasing his artwork inspired by my photography, for anyone interested in taking their dog portraits a step further.
