The Big Schnauzer Social

The Ultimate Schnauzer Sunday in Chelsea 🐾

If there’s one thing we know about Schnauzers, it’s that they know how to make an entrance.

So when London Schnauzer Social announced The Ultimate Schnauzer Sunday at the beautiful Love My Human Townhouse in Chelsea, we knew it was going to be a good one.

And we’re delighted to be joining them with Woof Photography!

Meet Kenji ❤️

At the centre of the day is one very special Schnauzer: Kenji.

If you’ve spent any time around the London Schnauzer Social community, you’ll probably recognise him. Kenji is the four-legged face behind the community and, this year, he’s celebrating his 5th birthday.

We’ve had the pleasure of photographing Kenji several times over the years, so it feels particularly special to be there for this one.

He’s also living proof of something we see every time we photograph a Schnauzer: behind that magnificent beard is a verybig personality.

A Schnauzer takeover in Chelsea

On Sunday 30 August, Love My Human Townhouse on King’s Road will be transformed into a Schnauzer playground.

There’ll be paddling pools, agility, rooftop play, grooming, expert advice, puppuccinos, treats and, most importantly, a whole lot of Schnauzers getting together to do what they do best — socialise, show off and generally cause a little chaos.

Miniatures, Standards, Giants and Schnauzer mixes are all welcome.

And for the humans? It’s a chance to meet other Schnauzer-obsessed people, enjoy the townhouse and café, and celebrate one of London’s most characterful breeds.

Even better, the £5 event ticket goes to All Dogs Matter, making it a pretty lovely way to spend a Sunday.

📸 Woof Photography is bringing the studio

A series of Woof Photography portraits of various schnauzers from the Archie. Salt and pepper, all black, white and grey Schnauzers. All featured on the classic signature pink, blue and cream backdrops.

We’ll be setting up our Woof Photography pop-up studio at the event for just 12 exclusive 20-minute sessions.

If you’ve ever wanted a proper studio portrait of your Schnauzer, this is a brilliant opportunity to experience what we do in a fun, relaxed setting — without having to book a full studio session.

We’ll have professional studio lighting and one of our signature backdrops, creating bold, characterful portraits that show off exactly what makes your dog yours.

Sessions are £35, with images available to order afterwards from your private online gallery.

And yes, this is absolutely the sort of occasion where your Schnauzer’s favourite bandana, outfit or ridiculous accessory is encouraged.

[BOOK YOUR WOOF PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION]

Only 12 sessions are available, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

One very bearded birthday

There’s something particularly lovely about photographing dogs we’ve known for years.

We’ve watched Kenji grow, photographed him on multiple occasions and seen just how much joy he brings to the Schnauzer community. So being there for his fifth birthday feels like the perfect excuse for another portrait.

Whether you’re a long-time London Schnauzer Social regular or you’ve only recently joined the Schnauzer family, this promises to be a very special Sunday.
